I have always had a passion to pray and to awake the desire in others to do likewise. We are in the process of setting up a “Mexican Wave” style of prayer and intercession movement around the world. While some sleep, others could be doing intercession and vice versa. For this purpose, we have established this website. The motive is that we all pray for all and all the time.
People working in population groups where many are unsaved need this type of prayer support and cover. We are there to stand in the gap and do intercession for them. These missionaries sometimes operate under the most difficult and dangerous circumstances.
I have also had countless requests from many leaders just for supportive prayer, and in particular, in times when they are confronted with a crisis.
Now, however, there is a sudden new hunger for this kind of intercessory back-up that God would save, bless and protect.
The “lostness” of souls is overwhelming. The least we can do is to pray to the living God, that He would raise up labourers for the harvest. We pray that He will bless, protect and provide for missionaries, crowning their efforts with success.
Matt 9:37-38 [NKJV] Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the labourers are few. 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest.”
It is obvious and shocking to observe the prayerlessness of the church in so many places.
Ezek 22:30 [NKJV] “So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.”
Isa 59:15-16 [NKJV] Then the Lord saw it, and it displeased Him that there was no justice. He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor...
It seems as if many think that they can do God’s work, and more so the work of the Great Commission, saving souls without God’s help. Church structure models do not mean much if Christ is not in their midst – and He has to be invited through prayer, praise and worship.

Acts 6:1 [Kenneth S Wuest] But as for us, to prayer and the ministry of the Word we shall give constant attention.
